Alaska Programs
The proverbial land of superlatives, Alaska is home to the highest peak in North America, Denali / Mt. McKinley, as well as to many of the largest glaciers in the Western Hemisphere. Within this giant state lies a vast variety of mountain wilderness, including alpine rock routes in the shadow of Denali and a volcano with twice the cubic mass of Mt. Shasta.
American Alpine Institute has a long history in Alaska. We have run Denali / McKinley expeditions going back to 1980 and pioneered guided trips and first ascents in the St. Elias range. Refine your search using the filters below.
