Winter Hiking and Snowshoeing - Mt Charleston, NV
Snowshoeing and hiking in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area is a truly unique experience. Even though this area is considered a desert, it often receives large amounts of snow and can provide a one-of-a-kind experience for winter hikers. Mt. Charleston, Mummy Mountain, Griffith Peak, and the countless canyons, cliffs and trails between them are a sight to behold when they are shrouded in a snowy cloak.
