In October of 2025, it was reported that over a thousand people were stuck on Mt. Everest in an unseasonable snow storm. This did not happen.
Instead, over a thousand trekkers were stuck in the Everest region. Nobody was stuck on Mt. Everest and everyone was rescued.
The result of this reporting was that many on TikTok and YouTube had ill informed opinions. This video is our attempt to tackle a few of the biggest mistruths.
