Lacey Scottum

Lacey has always felt at home in the outdoors, so it’s no surprise that she found her way to the American Alpine Institute. As the PNW Coordinator and Assistant Marketing Director, she supports our local programs, works with incredible guides and climbers, and shares the magic of the Pacific Northwest through storytelling and media.

She has a soft spot for the rugged beauty of the Twin Sisters Range and the dramatic granite spires of Washington Pass. When she’s not in the mountains, she loves fishing and boating around the San Juan Islands.  It’s a perfect counterbalance to life on the sharp end.  She loves the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest and capturing it with photography.  She feels lucky to share that love every day through her work.
