Mark Cionek called at 3pm PST on July 1st. I spoke to him briefly and he reported that they were having some trouble with the Sat phone battery so we got cuttoff once. They were sitting tight waiting for a weather window. Everyone was doing great, resting eating well, etc. Mark said he was going to call in an audio dispatch but he must be having further technical difficulty and/or is saving what sat phone battery he has for emergencies. Since we didn’t hear I thought I’d let everyone know what is probably happening.
