Update Received: May 18, 2014. 2:20pm PST. Ian called in with the first dispatch for Team 3. It appears they are moving right along. Yesterday they had a smooth gear check in Anchorage and were able to head up to Talkeetna this morning. As of this afternoon, the weather offered them a clear window and the team was on scheduled to fly up to the Kahiltna Base Camp. Once in Base Camp the team will review skills and begin to organize their heavy loads.
