A Quick Trip Up Ruth Mountain

American Alpine Institute
Back to Blog

A couple
of weeks ago I did a trip to Ruth Mountain.  It was one of the more
perfect fall days I have seen in the mountains.  The most incredible
thing about this trip was the views of the North Cascades.  It is very
clearly winter in the North Cascades.  October has in the past been my
favorite time of the year to climb in the mountains.  There is already
too much snow in many places.
