Dawood Dhada

Being the first person in his family to venture into austere environments voluntarily, Dawood has thrown himself head first into the mountains. His first time above 12,000 ft was a summit of Mt. Rainier, during which he found a deep love for glaciated terrain and alpine rock. After playing in the Cascades and East Sierra, Dawood set his sights on Colorado to learn how to ski; to travel on Denali. Dawood works and plays prioritizing a sense of enchantment both for himself and those around. If the community isn’t having fun or soaking in a sense of magic from the space, something is wrong. From teaching leadership to Midshipmen from the Naval Academy to guiding interpretive hikes in municipal parks, Dawood does everything to ensure the opportunity for people to learn and grow in ways they may not have had the opportunity to before.
