Tad’s passion for adventure has taken him throughout the Cascades, Sierra, Wind River, and Bugaboo Ranges. In the winter he pursues ice and mixed climbing in southwestern Colorado as well as the splitter sandstone towers of the desert Southwest. An accomplished athlete, Tad was a varsity rower and national champion at the University of Washington where he studied geography.
