Alan Oram, D.O.

Alan is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician and serves as medical advisor to the American Alpine Institute. In addition to practicing emergency medicine, Alan is an AMGA certified Rock, Alpine and Ski Guide. Alan has climbed and skied throughout North America including multiple trips to the Alaska range, extensive ski touring in Canada and skiing and climbing in Europe. He works in Jackson, Wyoming and provides medical advice to mountain guides as well as serving as the medical advisor to the American Mountain Guides Association. He has special interest in mountain medicine as it relates to altitude and the value of providing guides with up-to-date information and on providing medical care in remote environments.
