Update Received: May 17, 2014. 5:50pm PST. Geoff reports that the team is still at Camp 2. They took a cache up to 13,600′ and returned back to camp. They plan on breaking Camp 2 in the morning and move up to Camp 3. They hope to pick up their cache along the way giving them a break from having to back carry for a day. This will allow some extra rest days, time to acclimate at 14,200′, as well as store up some much needed extra calories. Also, it will allow the team the option to pick the better of the weather days come time to push on higher up the mountain.
